PROMISEK SALON CONCERT SERIES

The Promisek Salon Concert Series represents  a dedication that has been part of our vision from the beginnings of our stewardship of the land. We would restore things, bringing them forward into new realizations of the original intent. The music room in the building which became St. Cecilia's, with its vaulted acoustical ceiling was a natural.  We began with small informal ensembles in gatherings which over time became a full-fledged chamber concert series, featuring fine groups and soloists performing, mostly, the classical  repertoire. In this little corner of New England our intimate concerts with their champagne receptions and enjoyment of the adjoining formal  garden  have been going strong for the last 20 years or so.  Recent interruptions of our schedule encouraged us to offer our friends and a wider  audience some streaming alternatives, all with the conviction that good music brings us deeper  into awareness of the divine mystery that surrounds us.
